Dream Chasing is Shalom Zone, Inc. initiative. Shalom Zone, Inc. (SZI) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, faith-based organization which developed as an outreach ministry of Solomon Community Temple (SCT) United Methodist Church (UMC) in 1992. History
In 1999 two of (SCT/UMC) members began an outreach ministry targeting area teens called the Dream College Tour, which was primarily funded by student led fundraisers and Prism Technical Management – owned by the two members. Mission
Other fundamental ingredients taught in Dream ChasingTM are the realization that any dream worth pursuing will require:
- 1. Knowledge through study, research and exploration;
- 2. A desire to be the best we can be;
- 3. Discipline to establish worthwhile, time based goals;
- 4. Importance of Personal Effort;
- 5. Perseverance for when we fail; and
